The Benevolent Order of Texas Horned Toads plans a Discussion Forum and a membership form. Any information submitted via these forms (or any other means) is voluntary. Information submitted will be displayed on the applicable web page. No information is sold or distributed in any other way. Your posted information can be removed by the Webmaster at your request or the Webmaster’s discretion. No data is sold, shared, or used for any nefarious purpose.

I.          The Benevolent Order of Texas Horned Toads does not sell, gather or require any information which can personally identify you or your location. Any information you voluntarily submit in the Discussion forum (not yet online) or Membership form will be posted on the applicable page and thereby be available via the internet/world wide web, and your name and email address will be used in delivery of a quarterly free newsletter or other information from Michael LeFan. Your posting can be removed by the Webmaster at your request or the Webmaster’s discretion.
       The content (posts, messages, etc.) for the yet-to-be-established Discussion Forum is stored in a database. The Webmaster reserves the right to view any data in the database. No data is sold or distributed to third parties, however.
       The server hosting this website collects standard information about all visitors via access logs. Nearly ALL websites maintain access logs, and most collect the same information. This information includes IP number, time and date, and all files requested from the server. The access logs at this website are not available to anyone except the Webmaster, who finds its contents confusing. The contents of these logs will never be sold or shared.
       At the present time, the Benevolent Order of Texas Horned Toads website does not use "cookies", except in conjunction with a glass of cold milk and the not yet implemented Discussion forum which uses them to store log-in information.
       This website does collect some data with each form submission. No data is sold, shared, or used for any nefarious purpose. The list below describes the data that will be collected and its purpose:
Name, E-Mail, Location, Website URL, Comments: These voluntary items will be requested on the Discussion forum and membership form. This data is publicly displayed where applicable. It is not sold or distributed in any other way.

II.         Remote Addr (IP number): This item will be collected by the Discussion Forum and Membership form as a security measure. This data is freely provided by YOUR computer. Basically, it identifies your computers IP number which is provided by your network or ISP. IP numbers are needed so that web-servers know where to send the web pages that your browser requests. It bears no relation to your physical address, and does not identify you. On this web site it is also used to guard against form-spam and fraud. This information is not sold or distributed.
